FAQs

Why 3 Earplugs?

EARPEACE always includes an extra earplug and filter just in case you lose or drop one, then you still have a set.

Does MUSIC include various filter reduction levels?

Yes, MUSIC includes 3 sets of filters - 17db (Medium), 20dB (High) & 26dB (Max).

What is the difference between MUSIC & MUSIC PRO?

There are two major differences between MUSIC & MUSIC PRO.

The first difference is the earplugs. MUSIC features our original double coned earplugs for a comfortable, natural fit. While, MUSIC PRO earplugs feature our patented contour design engineered to mold to the shape of your ear canal, creating a complete seal for a near custom fit.

The second difference is the filters. MUSIC includes three sets of filters. The 17dB & 20dB filters are precisely machined to allow an unobstructed sound into the ear for a noise reducing yet full spectrum sound experience. The 26dB filter set is a full block filter for max reduction.

The MUSIC PRO filters, on the other hand, feature multi-layered technology. These layers grab the sound signature and then replicate it at a lower volume, so you hear the full spectrum of crisp, clear sound at a safe volume. When selecting PRO you will have the option to choose between various filter reductions for a mastered attenuated experience.

Black for snoring, Clear for rink

My son recommended I get this brand. He likes the case that goes on your keychain.

I got them mostly for the roller rink. They play the music SO LOUD. Others agree. We have to raise our voices to talk to each other. One rink owner wants the music loud enough to cover up the sounds of wheels. Oy!

First I tried the plugs at home. Then I tried them at the rink. After about an hour, one was working its way out of my ear. After that I got firmer when I inserted them, and I haven't had a problem since. My advice is to wear them at least an hour at home until you get the knack for inserting them.

I use the clear filters (17) for the rink. I can still hear the music well enough that I can skate to it. I can also hear people on the floor when they talk to me. When the music is WAY loud, it seems to be EASIER to hear people talking with the plugs in. Usually, when I've left the rink and am sitting and talking with someone, I'll take one plug out and keep a firm grip on it.

Recently I took a trip and was sharing a room with a loud snorer. I used the black (26) filters and was able to sleep!!! Six nights, and the plugs did not once fall out.

Wonderful little pieces of engineering

My wife has hyperacusis and misophonia and wears these constantly. I have taken to carrying a second pair with me just in case something happens to her pair. We were recently at a restaurant and the staff had the "background" music up _way_ too loud. we could barely talk to one another. I have no idea how the waitress was able to hear our order. Anyway, I remembered I had a set of EARPEACE earplugs and put them in. WOW. it was like the music had been turned down, but I could hear the people at the table clearly. It made my night! Thank you so much for what you have created.
