The Best Earplugs are the ones you wear.

Whether you choose Original or PRO, the important thing is being proactive about your hearing protection.
Here are some features to consider:

Original vs. PRO FAQs

Which PRO Filter should I choose?

Medium Protection (16dB) - Best for situations where hearing softer sounds is still important to the experience. Examples might include a jazz club or the movies.

High Protection (20dB) - The best all-around filter for live music and casual rides. Perfect for situations like music festivals or weekend rides where safety is critical but you are still communicating with others.

Max Protection (24dB) - Best for environments where you need extra protection. Examples include indoor concert venues or clubs and highway motorcycle rides or cycles with loud engines.

Ultra-Max Protection (27dB) - Sound pressure doubles with every 3 decibels giving the Ultra-Max filter almost twice the attenuation power of Max. If you have sensitive hearing or hearing loss - this is the filter for you. Best used in sports stadiums or arenas where the noise level can exceed 125dB.

What is the difference between MUSIC and MUSIC PRO?

There are two major differences between MUSIC & MUSIC PRO:

1. The Earplugs.

MUSIC features our original double-coned silicone earplug for a comfortable, natural fit.

MUSIC PRO features our patented Contour Earplug™ design engineered to mold to the shape of your ear canal, creating a complete seal for a near-custom fit.

2.  The Filters.

MUSIC includes three sets of precision-drilled filters for out-of-the-box flexibility: 17dB & 20dB filters which allow an unobstructed sound into the ear for a noise-reducing yet full-spectrum sound experience - and a 26dB filter for Max protection.

MUSIC PRO features multi-layered acoustic filters for a more precise, full spectrum sound. These layers grab the sound signature and then replicate it at a lower volume, so you hear the full spectrum of crisp, clear sound at a safe volume. When selecting PRO you will have the option to choose the specific high-fidelity filter reduction level that’s right for you: 24dB Max, perfect for loud clubs and arenas, 20dB High, ideal for outdoor concerts and festivals, and 16dB Medium, great for acoustic shows.

Our PRO products automatically qualify for Free Shipping in the continental US.

Why should I wear earplugs at concerts and shows?

Noise from live music can cause serious damage like Noise Induced Hearing Loss (NIHL) and tinnitus.  According to the World Health Organization, “by 2050 nearly 2.5 billion people are projected to have some degree of hearing loss and at least 700 million will require hearing rehabilitation.”

NIHL is the only type of hearing loss that is completely preventable. The only thing you can do is try to preserve the hearing you have left. If you haven’t started, right now is the best time to begin preserving your hearing and preventing future damage.

Hearing protection doesn’t work unless it’s in your ears. That’s why we say the most effective kind of hearing protection is the kind you’ll actually use and is comfortable to wear. We’ve engineered EARPEACE to be the precise blend of technology and comfort, and we have the industry trust to prove it. But we’re not afraid to be compared. At the end of the day, we want you to find what works for you.
